Try these ones from Safetree’s Growing Our Safety Culture initiative.

They’re designed to help people get to grips with what’s really going on with health and safety at their workplace.

They cover 3 essentials of a work culture that supports health and safety –  good communication, recognising good performance, and learning so we can improve.

Hand them out at your Safe Start meetings and ask people to discuss the questions they contain, together with their teams. Ask them to agree on the answers that best reflect what happens in their team. Then get people to think about what they want to change, and how they could do that.

The resources, and the questions they contain, are relevant to everyone in forestry – workers, foremen, contractors, owners and managers – so everyone can be involved.
